Product Details

Is this the right air filter for you?

The FILTI® permanent washable filter uses specialized nanofiber technology to offer a MERV 13 efficiency rating. The FILTI® filter does what other washable filters cant; providing permanent, high efficiency filtration. The FILTI® filter provides 3 layers of protection - LAYER 1 - meltblown layer designed to capture larger particulate matter and engineered for increased dust-holding capacity / LAYER 2 - patent-pending nanofiber technology captures the smallest particles and ultra-fine pollutants  / LAYER 3 - downstream scrim acts as a supporting layer for the nanofiber and provides additional reinforcement

FEATURES:

  • FILTI® Permanent Washable MERV 13 Filter - 20" X 20" X 1"
  • Uses Patent-Pending NanoFiber Technology - out-performs electrostatic washable filters - and doesn't become less efficient after washing
  • MERV 13 efficiency rating while filtering atmospheric particulate matter that an average disposable filter doesn't
  • The FILTI® filter could save you up to $100 a year, upwards of $1,000 over the course of 10 years
  • Save our landfills! Over the course of 20 years, the average homeowner would contribute 16x more waste to landfills using a disposable filter versus a FILTI® washable filter
  • Use again and again - simply rinse, reuse, repeat!

How to change your furnace/air-conditioner/HVAC air filter

Estimated time: 10 minutes or less

Steps

  1. Determine the location of your filter

Your forced air system will be similar, whether or not it is a heating (furnace) or cooling (AC) system – or both. The furnace filter housing/slot is located right next to the heating/cooling system’s air handler or blower. Your filter(s) may also be located in a return grille on the wall or ceiling of your home.

  2. Determine the type/size of filter that you use

Typically, the dimensions or part number of the filter will be printed on the filter frame. Use this information to order a new filter.

  3. Purchase a new air filter from DiscountFilters.com

Visit DiscountFilters.com and purchase a new filter. Use our filter finders to verify the correct match.

  4. Remove the old filter

Turn off the power to the heating/cooling system and remove the old filter from its housing/slot and discard.

  5. Insert the new filter

Pay attention to any airflow direction arrows printed on the frame of the new filter. Install the filter by sliding it into the filter housing/slot with the airflow arrow pointing towards the blower. If installing the filter in a wall or ceiling grille – the airflow arrow should point towards the wall or ceiling. Turn on the power to the forced air system.

    Enjoy cleaner air!
