2" custom filters will be 1¾" in thickness,
4" custom filters will be 3¾" in thickness. - The manufacturing of extra large sizes may consist of more than one filter taped together.

Why do I need a custom filter?
Your heating and cooling contractor may have been forced to create a non-standard sized slot for your air filter due to space constraints. This is common where heating and cooling systems are retrofitted in an older home.
How do I measure for a custom filter?
Using a tape measure, record the ACTUAL size of your existing filter (length and width) - down to 1/8".
What is the largest custom filter that can be made?
The maximum length (shortest dimension) of our custom filters is 29-7/8". The maximum width (longest dimension) of our custom filters is 59-7/8".
Are custom filters different than standard filters?
Our custom filters are constructed of exactly the same materials found in a standard size. The only difference is the dimensions of the filter (length and width). The thickness of a 1" custom filter is the same as a standard filter - about 7/8".
